Premier League VS Other leagues

It had been a very favorite topic of many pundits of football for many decades. Majority of people used to say that premier league was the best league until champions league established. In a champions league all top teams from Europe have to contest for a glory. From the last decade top premier league teams are just vulnerable in the Champions league. Why is it?

Although top teams of premier league have to struggle most than top teams of other leagues because level of defending in premier league is just awesome. A small team like Leister city which just promoted to the premier league has been able to top the table while competing against English giants like Manchester united, Manchester city, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool. Probably that’s why premier league is called the best league by some pundits because it is too competitive as compared to other leagues just like Spanish league has two most favorite teams like Real Madrid and Barcelona. Italy has Juventus, France has Psg and Germany has a royal team like Bayern which are almost straightforward champions since the beginning of the season.

But now with the increasing level of competition and rivalry among teams and consistent collapse of English teams in European competition people are also interested in other leagues as well which is a good thing. Just like premier league, now there is some tough competition in other leagues is observed, thanks to the rivalry between real Madrid and Barcelona, Bayern and Dortmund etc. They always want to achieve everything, sometimes called treble, each year. So they are investing highly on their clubs in signings of best players from all over the world. This trend is proved as a disaster to the Premier League. Because the revenue of the teams in Spain, France, Germany and Italy is greater than the English teams so that’s why they have been luring the best players from Premier league quite easily. With the attraction of high compensation and European trophy best players are moving towards European giants like real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern. These teams have become the dream of any player. 

So this discussion about Premier league VS other leagues has become so complicated which is difficult to resolve but in my opinion, currently premier league has the best managers who know really well to fetch the best from each player and they are tactically very strong while other top leagues like Spanish and Germans have the best players from all over the world so they are successful in European competitions which are mostly based on knockout matches and managers get less time to understand the tactics and playing style of other teams in few fixtures because they are concerned with their domestic marathon.
So in European competition teams with the best players are always favorites because “To be the best you need the best”. To regain the glory of premier league, English clubs must have to increase their revenues, although they have best managers but still teams need to attract or at least have to keep the best players in England via providing them the best compensation and improving their credibility in all competitions as well.
